Selong Belanak
The small, sleepy village of Selong Belanak is situated about 20 minutes from Kuta Lombok, 30 minutes from Praya and around 1 hour from the main city of Mataram. It is surrounded by magnificent hills and ridges, unbelievable coastline and stunning beaches. The real beauty of this area is the remoteness, but Selong Belanak is still close enough to enjoy the hustle and bustle of surrounding towns like Kuta, Praya and Mataram.
Things to do in and around Selong Belanak
Only a short distance from Burudika are some great restaurants and bars, so you will never have to venture far for a bite or drink and if you don’t feel like going anywhere, we have restaurants that will deliver take away to your door.
Selong Belanak Beach is a great spot to learn to surf. We recommend Mul’s Surf School. He is a great mate of our’s and will have you up and riding in no time.
We can organise fishing, snorkelling trips, hiking or walking day trips through many of the local villages and countryside.
For anyone wanting to relax, there is also yoga, day spas and a golf course in the area, but if you would like to just lounge by the gardens and pool, Burudika is the best place for that.
